Portsmouth school bus drivers charged after fight

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (AP) -- Two Portsmouth school bus drivers face charges following a fight in the bus depot yard.

Portsmouth police Detective Misty Holley tells media outlets that one driver went to her car, retrieved a stun gun and hit the other driver with it.

Holley says Tuesday's incident began as a verbal altercation between the female drivers. The altercation then became physical.

No children were present at the time of the incident.

Holley says both drivers suffered minor scratches.

One driver was charged with assault and battery and possession of a stun gun on school property. The other driver was charged with assault and battery.
