WASHINGTON (AP) -- Fire investigators are trying to determine what caused a fire that heavily damaged a Metrobus in at a bus facility in northeast Washington.
Authorities received a report of a bus fire at a Metro bus facility on Bladensburg Road early Monday. The fire department briefly shut down inbound New York Avenue between South Dakota Avenue and Bladensburg Road.
Metro spokesman Philip Stewart says there's no indication that anyone was injured in the fire. He says Metro Transit Police are aware of the incident, but no details are available.
