MACHIPONGO, Va. (AP) -- In a story Oct. 12 about a tour bus accident, The Associated Press, relying on information from Virginia State Police, reported erroneously that ABC Bus Leasing of Faribault, Minn., was operating a Vision Tours bus that went into a ditch along Virginia's Eastern Shore. State police say ABC Bus Leasing owns the bus and leased it to Vision Tours.

MACHIPONGO, Va. (AP) -- Virginia state police say the driver of a passenger tour bus has been charged after the bus went into a ditch along the Eastern Shore and 13 people suffered minor injuries.

State police spokeswoman Corinne Geller says the crash occurred shortly after 6 a.m. Saturday in Machipongo. She says the bus was heading from New York to Virginia Beach. Vision Tours leased the bus from its owner, ABC Bus Leasing of Faribault, Minn.

The bus driver, 59-year-old Jeffrey Williams, was charged with failure to keep a vehicle on the roadway.

State police say the cause of the crash is under investigation.

A message left with the company wasn't immediately returned Saturday.
