BALTIMORE (AP) -- A Glen Burnie teen has been charged in a fatal stabbing during a fight that broke out as crowds left Super Bowl victory festivities in Baltimore in February.
Police announced the arrest of 16-year-old Nazr Williams on Tuesday. Williams, who was 15 at the time of the fight, is charged as an adult with first-degree murder.
A grand jury indicted Williams on Monday in the death of 15-year-old Deontae Smith during a fight that erupted outside a McDonald's as crowds left events celebrating the Ravens' Super Bowl victory. He is also charged with carrying a deadly weapon with intent to injure.
Two other teens were injured in the scuffle and Williams is charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder. Online court records do not list an attorney for Williams.
