Police investigate robbery of College Park bar

WASHINGTON - One of the men wanted in the armed robbery of a popular College Park bar was in police custody Tuesday night.

Delontae Britton of Northeast Washington turned himself in Tuesday evening. He was wanted in connection to the robbery of RJ Bentley's on Saturday night.

Police are still looking for another suspect.

COLLEGE PARK, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County police are seeking two men wanted in an armed robbery of a College Park bar near the University of Maryland campus.

Police say the robbery of RJ Bentley's, a bar on Baltimore Avenue popular with Maryland students, occurred around 10:30 Saturday morning when two men came in and demanded money. Police say one of the men had a gun.

The men stole cash and drove off in what police say appeared to be a silver Acura with Maryland tags.

No one was injured, and police say there were no customers inside the bar at the time.

Police have released photographs of the suspect and car in hopes of generating tips.
