Police issue silver alert for 75-year-old D.C. man

WASHINGTON – D.C. police have issued a Silver Alert for a 75-year-old man last seen near a city park.

Police say Dewitt Davis was seen about noon at a park near the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Upshur Street NW Friday.

He is described as a black man, about 5-foot-1, and weighing about 160 pounds. He has gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing blue slacks, a multi-colored flannel shirt and glasses.

He may need medical attention, police say.

Anyone with information about Davis’ whereabouts or who has seen Davis is asked to call police at 202-727-9099 or 202-576-6768.
