STEPHENSON, Va. (AP) -- An estate in Frederick County established around 1600 is up for sale for $9 million.
United Real Estate says Historic Jordan Springs is being marketed either as individual lots or as one property for residential and commercial development.
The estate northeast of Winchester includes 200 acres for residential development and about 10 acres of commercial land. It also has a hotel and events center.
Gregg Herpst with New Home Professionals Great Falls tells The Winchester Star (http://bit.ly/124KHIb ) that his firm is marketing the estate to land buyers throughout the world. New Home Professionals Great Falls is a subsidiary of United Real Estate Great Falls.
Tonie Wallace-Aitken and Greg Aitken have owned Historic Jordan Springs since 2001.
