Pizza delivery driver robbed at gunpoint in Fairfax Co.

WASHINGTON – Fairfax County police are looking for a man they say robbed a pizza delivery driver in the Springfield/Lorton area last week.

Police say the 49-year-old driver delivered a pizza at about 9:30 p.m. Friday and was walking back to his car in the area near Windfall Road and Great Lake Lane when a man showed him a handgun and demanded money.

After robbing the driver, police say the suspect ran toward Great Lake Lane. He is described as black, in his mid-20s, about 6 feet tall and weighing about 160 pounds. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a red bandana that covered part of his face.
