WASHINGTON (AP) -- Metro says it will close four stations on the orange line for weekend work.
Beginning Friday at 10 p.m. and continuing through closing on Sunday, free shuttle buses will replace trains between Vienna and Ballston. The Vienna, Dunn Loring, West Falls Church and East Falls Church stations will be closed. Metro says it will operate both express and local buses to help passengers complete their travels.
On the red line, meanwhile, travelers can expect trains to run every 20 minutes throughout the weekend. Additional trains will run between Van Ness-UDC and NoMa-Gallaudet with service every ten minutes.
On the green line, every other train will begin or end at College Park rather than Greenbelt. There is no scheduled track work on the blue and yellow lines.
