Va. store owner pleads guilty in bath salts case

HARRISONBURG, Va. (AP) -- The owner of an adult store in Harrisonburg faces up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty in a bath salts case.

Augustus George Julias II was charged with conspiring to distribute a synthetic drug used to make bath salts.

The Daily News-Record (http://bit.ly/151vPus ) reports that Julias pleaded guilty Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Harrisonburg. His sentencing is set for Nov. 6.

Julias told U.S. District Judge Michael Urbanksi that he was involved in the drug's distribution, along with 48-year-old Jeremy B. King of Broadway and 33-year-old Matthew L. Comer of Harrisonburg. King and Comer worked at the store.

King and Comer were charged with the same crime.

Comer is scheduled to be sentenced Sept. 18 after pleading guilty in April.

King's trial is set for July 29.
