1 dead, 2 wounded in D.C. shooting

WASHINGTON (AP) – Police in Washington say they are investigating a triple shooting that left one man dead and two wounded.

Police say officers found the three men wounded in the 3400 block of Stanton Road, SE, shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday.

Authorities say the three were taken to area hospitals where 21-year-old Alvin Allen Jr. was pronounced dead. The two other victims, an adult and a juvenile, were not identified. Police did not provide any information on their condition or injuries.
