TR Bridge to close for movie filming

Saturday - 5/4/2013, 1:35pm  ET

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Washington's Theodore Roosevelt Bridge will close briefly for the filming of a major motion picture.

Officials say the bridge, which connects the District of Columbia to Virginia, will be shut down on Sunday from 8:20 a.m. to 9:10 a.m. and again from 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The District of Columbia's office that handles film permitting says the bridge will close for the filming of "Freezer Burn." The working title has been connected to a new "Captain America" movie.

Drivers will be detoured.
