RICHMOND, Va. (AP) -- The National Geographic Channel is returning to Richmond to film Bill O'Reilly's historical narrative Killing Kennedy.
The project is a follow-up to O'Reilly's Killing Lincoln, which also was filmed in Richmond in 2011. Ridley Scott joined NGC in producing Killing Lincoln, which premiered as the most watched show in the channel's history and has since aired in 171 countries and 38 languages.
Gov. Bob McDonnell announced that Scott also will produce Killing Kennedy, which recounts the events and aftermath surrounding the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Casting is underway, and the project will be filmed later this year.
