CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) -- A onetime socialite's former estate in rural Virginia could become the site of an 18-hole golf course.
Real estate mogul and reality TV figure Donald Trump bought Patricia Kluge's estate in September 2012. The property in Albemarle County includes the 45-room Albemarle House and 3,000 acres.
Trump's son, Eric Trump, tells The Daily Progress (http://bit.ly/189N7HB ) that the proposed golf course is still in the preliminary stages. If they decide to proceed, he says they would like to make it a public course.
He also says he would like Albemarle House to be featured as a signature element if the golf course is built.
