PETERSURG, Va. (AP) -- Petersburg is hosting the debut of a nationwide exhibit of costumes from the movie "Lincoln."
The city says "Lincoln" wardrobe designer Joanna Johnston will return to Petersburg for the exhibit's opening on Saturday at the Centre Hill Museum.
President Abraham Lincoln visited the Centre Hill mansion in 1865.
Petersburg cultural affairs manager Kevin Kirby says in a news release that Johnson's visit is part of a weekend of "Lincoln"-related activities and tours.
"Lincoln" was filmed in the Petersburg and Richmond areas.
