TOWSON, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore County Police have charged two men after a man was stabbed during a bar fight in Towson.

Police announced the charges Sunday related to the fight at the Charles Village Pub that injured two men a day earlier.

When a man tried to intervene in an argument between 22-year-old Nicholas Jarrad Jones of Baltimore and a woman, police say Jones stabbed the man multiple times. Then, police say, 21-year-old Robert Lee Blackshire II of Towson assaulted the man's friend. Two bystanders, a man and a woman, were also hurt.

Jones and Blackshire were arrested at the scene. Jones is charged with attempted first-degree murder and first-degree assault and is being held without bail. Blackshire is charged with second-degree assault.
