Expansion plans for Suburban Hospital moving forward

Next week, the Montgomery County Planning Board will hear expansion plans for Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, BethesdaNow.com reports.

Almost two years ago, a Circuit Court judge denied a request from residents of the Huntington Terrace Citizens Association to block the project.

Suburban Hospital is proposing a 235,000-square-foot addition to its facility at 8600 Old Georgetown Road. The hospital has not had a major clinical expansion since 1979.
