WASHINGTON - Multiple people are in the hospital after a crash in Montgomery County Thursday afternoon.

Two vehicles collided near University Boulevard and Brunette Avenue in Silver Spring around 4:30 p.m.

Two people have life-threatening injuries, three have serious injuries and two others have minor injuries.

Eastbound University Boulevard was shut down but all lanes are now open.
