1920dc and Asefu’s Restaurant closed, labeled public safety threat

WASHINGTON (AP) – A Northwest Washington club and adjacent restaurant have been closed by police following a fatal weekend shooting.

Police Chief Cathy L. Lanier has ordered the 1920dc and Asefu’s Restaurant closed for four days, labeling them a threat to public safety.

The Washington Post reports (http://wapo.st/13LuGEf) the owners of the businesses can request a public hearing to regain their liquor license after the order expires.
