RICHMOND, Va. -- Richmond police say a student has been apprehended after a fight at John Marshall High School.
Capt. Michael Snawder says officers responded to the school after the fight Friday morning. Snawder says the fight occurred between a John Marshall student and another student who had been waiting for a bus that was headed to another school in the city.
Media outlets report one of the students fled and was apprehended a few blocks away. An unspecified weapon was confiscated.
No injuries were reported. A lockdown at the school has been lifted, while parents are being allowed to pick up students.
