Man sentenced to 9 years for killing half-brother

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A man who shot and killed his half-brother during a confrontation has been sentenced to 9 years in prison.
Twenty-four-year-old Cornelius Johnson of Baltimore had pleaded guilty to manslaughter in the death of 25-year-old Andrew Johnson. He was sentenced Monday.
The Capital of Annapolis reports (http://bit.ly/VTf3fS) that prosecutors say on Nov. 13, 2011, Cornelius Johnson's father got into an argument with Andrew Johnson in front of a Glen Burnie restaurant. Police say Cornelius Johnson shot his half-brother.
