Albemarle Co. supervisor censured, urged to resign

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. -- The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors has censured a member who pleaded guilty to sexual battery.
The Daily Progress (http://bit.ly/X3Vtvf ) reports that the board also approved a motion Wednesday asking Supervisor Christopher Dumler to resign.
Dumler abstained from both votes.
The 27-year-old Dumler pleaded guilty to the misdemeanor charge in January. He received a 30-day jail sentence and was ordered to make a public apology to the victim.
