WASHINGTON - D.C. police say they've arrested nine people as part of a drug-dealing investigation in the District's Shaw neighborhood.
Police say they seized crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and other evidence. The nine arrested, whose names weren't immediately released, face charges including robbery, drug distribution and firearms violations.
D.C. police worked with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on the investigation.
Police Chief Cathy Lanier says many of the people who were charged loitered in the neighborhood but did not live there.
