WASHINGTON – It still feels like winter, but baseball excitement is already in the air.

The Washington Nationals are putting on a special event this Saturday to drum up support and excitement as the coming season grows closer.

“We had the winningest record in baseball. We won the National League East and had our first appearance in the playoffs,” explains COO Andy Feffer, who is inviting fans to NatsFest this Saturday at the Washington Convention Center. “A lot of players will be there. It’s a rare opportunity for fans to see these guys up front.”

The event features a Q&A session with team management, batting cages and an announcement regarding possible changes to the Racing Presidents for the 2013 season.
