RICHMOND, Va. - Gov. Bob McDonnell says Virginia has launched a redesigned and faster state government website.
The governor said Friday that the Virginia.gov website is intended to streamline citizens' access to Virginia government. The site has a new look, and it aims to enhance Virginia's image as a top state for doing business and raising a family.
McDonnell says five rounds of citizen usability testing were conducted on the desktop and mobile versions of the site, and feedback from the testers was used to make further improvements. He says testing verified that tasks can be completed faster on the new version of the website, which also loads more quickly.
