BRUNSWICK, Md. - About 20 people plunged into the Potomac River in Brunswick for the sixth annual Freezin' for a Reason charity event.
The Frederick News-Post ( http://bit.ly/X0hZne) reports Tuesday's event at the Brunswick Family Campground raised close to $2,000. That money will go to four local charities including a cold weather shelter in Frederick and the Brunswick Food Bank.
The event is sponsored by the Brunswick Area Recreation Council.
