STAFFORD, Va. - Human remains discovered in Stafford County have been identified as those of a man reported missing in 2011.
Police tell media outlets that an autopsy report indicates that 45-year-old Timothy R. Wait's death didn't result from foul play.
Wait's remains were found Dec. 31 by two juveniles in a wooded area off U.S. 17.
Police say Wait was last seen in North Stafford on May 10, 2011. His wife reported him missing two days later.
