MANASSAS, Va. – It is Christmas crunch time for shoppers. As the hard holiday deadline is fast approaching, shoppers in the Manassas area were out trying to get it all done Sunday.

With a packed parking lot at the Manassas Mall, some of the shoppers out for this last weekend before Christmas were a bit relaxed, while others were feeling a little too much of the holiday pressure.

For Rommel Esguera and his wife, Jamie Esguera, they have this Christmas shopping thing down.

“Yeah, we took care of it during the summertime,” says Rommel Esquera, who was just picking up a few last minute items at the Manassas Mall Sunday morning. “We were almost done before Thanksgiving.”

Their big worry of the day was thinking about where to have lunch. Others said they were too busy to stop for an interview.

A man who calls himself O.B. was cool as a cucumber, even though this was his first day shopping. His secret? Having a short list.

“I’m the man in the house. So, I just shop for my wife and my wife shops for everybody else,” says O.B.

George Fulda is on a mission with his six-year-old son Alex to get one last present.

“We getting mommy earrings,” says Alex.

Alex Fulda is none too shy to let you know that, “I am on the nice list.”
