WASHINGTON - The Washington Redskins announced on Saturday that rookie quarterback Kirk Cousins will start in Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.
Cousins will make his first career start in place of Redskins' quarterback Robert Griffin III, who injured his knee in the Dec. 9 game against the Baltimore Ravens.
Griffin took to Twitter saying, "The decision was not my own… But I will be there for my team!!! In every way I possibly can."
Sunday's game will start at 1 p.m. from Cleveland.
