WASHINGTON - A helicopter that helped with Hurricane Katrina relief efforts won't go on display quite yet in front of the D.C. Armory in southeast Washington.
The helicopter had been expected to arrive Wednesday, but officials said the instillation had been delayed until further notice. A spokeswoman for the National Guard says there were problems with the truck being used to transport the helicopter from Connecticut.
The helicopter is part of the D.C. Army National Guard inventory. In addition to its service during Hurricane Katrina the helicopter was also used on border patrol assignments before being retired.
