Toy store cashier fights off armed robber

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Annapolis police say a store cashier fought off an armed robber, who then ran away.
It happened about 6:40 p.m. Monday at the Fun for All! Toys on West Street. Officers tell The Capital of Annapolis that a masked man approached the front counter, displayed a handgun and demanded money.
The cashier tried to knock the gun from the robber's hand, and a struggle ensued.
The robber eventually ran from the store. The cashier was not hurt.
