RICHMOND, Va. - More than a foot of snow has fallen in parts of Virginia in the wake of superstorm Sandy.
The National Weather Service reports 14.5 inches in one area of Tazewell County. The town of Tazewell and Richlands both received 8 inches.
Mouth of Wilson also has received 8 inches. Seven inches of snow are reported at Mountain Lake in Giles County.
Other areas are reporting snowfall ranging from 1 to 5 inches.
