BALTIMORE - Baltimore police have identified the driver killed in a crash when officers followed the vehicle.
Police say Monday that 37-year-old Tabbit Sidney of Baltimore died in Friday's crash.
Police say officers from a unit focused on narcotics and gun offenders attempted to stop a green SUV shortly before midnight Friday. As officers followed the vehicle, the SUV collided with another car and hit a tree. It happened near the intersection of Broadway and Biddle Street.
A passenger in the SUV was seriously injured. Police say they recovered a handgun and two replica guns from the SUV.
