RICHMOND, Va. - The Virginia General Assembly's website has been revamped.
The clerks of the House of Delegates and state Senate announced Tuesday the launching of the new site, www.virginiageneralassembly.gov.
The site has enhanced resources and is aimed at easier navigation for users. New features include social media feeds and access to legislative meetings held throughout the year, including video feeds.
The website's "Capitol Classroom" section also has been retooled to give students and adults more legislative information.
Senate clerk Susan Clarke Schaar says the website will help educate the public and enable citizens to participate more in lawmakers' work.
