WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - Military jets have intercepted two small planes that entered a temporary no-fly zone over Williamsburg.
The North American Aerospace Defense Command says the Cessna 182 and the Piper PA32 were allowed to continue their flights after two F-16s escorted them out of the no-fly zone.
NORAD says one plane entered the restricted zone at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The other plane entered the zone 15 minutes later. The incidents weren't related.
The incidents occurred as President Barack Obama was in Williamsburg prepared for his debate Tuesday against Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
