WESTMINSTER, Md. - Maryland State Police say they're investigating some human skeletal remains found in Westminster.
Investigators said Monday that the bones appear to be those of a male.
They were found Saturday by people walking on a path through a vacant lot along Route 140 in the southeastern part of the city.
Police say the state medical examiner's office will try to determine the identity of the remains and the cause and manner of death.
