Police ID an slain in Frederick alley

FREDERICK, Md. - Frederick police have identified a man who was shot and killed in an alley downtown.
The victim was 36-year-old Lamont Ellis of Frederick.
Police say he was found shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday after officers got a call about shots being fired. He was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to a hospital, where he died.
The slaying is under investigation.
