MARION, Va. - A Christiansburg man has been indicted on involuntary manslaughter charges in a crash that killed three passengers in a car he was driving.
State Police Sgt. Michael T. Conroy in Wytheville says 21-year-old Dakota Andrew Miller was arrested Wednesday, a day after he was indicted on three counts by a Smyth County grand jury.
Conroy says Miller is being held without bond in the Abingdon Regional Jail.
State Police say Miller was the driver of a car that ran off a road at a high rate of speed and overturned on July 9. Killed were 21-year-old Sarah Beth Clark of Lebanon, 23-year-old Richard Michael Schmidt of Marion, and 20-year-old Chelsea Leah-Jordan Altice of Salem.
