Va. police arrest Sterling serial tire slasher

WASHINGTON – A Sterling, Va., man who police believe is slashing tires around town has been charged in connection with the crimes.

Loudoun County Police arrested Alan A. L’Haridon, 19, on Radford University’s campus, charging him with six misdemeanor counts of destruction of property and one felony count of destruction of property.

L’Haridon slashed tires in the neighborhoods of Glengyle Lane, Dorian Court, Fenton Wood Drive and Persimmon Lane in Sterling, between Aug. 24 and 25, police say.

L’Haridon is being held at the New River Valley Regional Jail.
