BOWLEYS QUARTERS, Md. - Baltimore County police say two 17-year-old boys were killed and another was injured in a car accident in Bowleys Quarters.
Police spokeswoman Susan Hunt says the accident happened about 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at Bowleys Quarters and New Section roads. Hunt says the teenagers were in a Chevrolet Cavalier that was headed north on Bowleys Quarters Road "at a high rate of speed" when it crossed the center line, spun out of control and struck two utility poles.
Police say the driver, Alejandro Santiago Wine, and Ryan James Boothe, who was in the front seat, were declared dead at the scene. The third teenager, John Robert Morris III, was taken to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in critical condition.
All three were students at Kenwood High School in Essex.
