WASHINGTON - Mitt Romney is carrying his presidential campaign through the Old Dominion Saturday.
He will dash into Ashland to address a crowd at Randolph Macon College and then it's on to a late afternoon rally at the Harris Pavilion in Manassas, where preparations are well underway. Security will be tight and road closures are already in effect.
West Street, alongside the pavilion, is closed to traffic until 7 p.m. Pedestrians will also be excluded from West street from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Northbound Center Street in front of the the pavilion will be closed to vehicles and pedestrians from 1 p.m. to 7 pm.
Parking for the event will be available at lots in Old Town Manassas and also at the city parking garage and the commuter lot both on Prince William Street.
