Gas prices rise another 4 cents

WASHINGTON – It was another bad week at the pump. The latest WTOP Pain in the Gas survey shows the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline is $3.65, up 4 cents from last week.

Midgrade gas has gone up 5 cents a gallon to $3.84. Premium is also up 5 cents to $3.97 a gallon. Diesel is up 1 cent to $3.93

For those keeping score, the average price of regular fuel is cheapest in Virginia, at $3.56 a gallon. It’s $3.58 in Maryland, and $3.81 in the District.

One year ago, WTOP’s gas survey found the average price of a gallon of regular to be $3.83.
