Air Force base terminal named for slain Va airman

NORFOLK, Va. - The passenger terminal at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois is being dedicated to the memory of a former Old Dominion University student killed in 2011.
Officials dedicated the terminal in honor of 21-year-old Airman 1st Class Zachary Cuddeback. He and another airman were killed when a man fired on a busload of soldiers at the Frankfurt International Airport in Germany. Cuddeback was a vehicle operator assigned to Ramstein Air Base.
The Virginian-Pilot reports ( http://bit.ly/Mvv0UX) that was born at Scott Air Force Base and graduated from William Monroe High School in Stanardsville, Va., in 2008.
Cuddeback played ice hockey at Old Dominion and was a member of the Kappa Delta Rho fraternity until he joined the Air Force in 2009.
