FOREST, Va. - Bedford County economic development officials say Mail America Communications Inc. plans to add 75 jobs and spend $5 million to expand operations in Forest.
The Roanoke Times reports ( http://bit.ly/KY4RrC) that the jobs will be added over the next three years. They include print and mail insertion operators, maintenance staff and various office administration positions.
Mail America already employs 325 in Bedford County in a facility that opened in 1989.
The company is receiving $210,000 in grants and assistance from the Virginia Tobacco Indemnification and Community Revitalization Commission, the Bedford County Economic Development Authority and the Virginia Jobs Investment Program.
