ALEXANDRIA, Va. - Firefighters in Alexandria are at the scene of a two-alarm blaze that broke out a commercial building near the Van Dorn Street Metro station.
Authorities say the fire occurred at Atlantic Self Storage in the 4900 block of Eisenhower Avenue early Tuesday morning.
Firefighters from Fairfax County also responded to the fire, and hazmat crews were called in as a precaution due to the unknown contents of the building.
Authorities say firefighters were going from unit to unit in search of the origin of the fire.
