BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) - A conference to discuss how the state and federal governments would deal with a terrorism incident's impact on agriculture is set for next week in Blacksburg.

The one-day Virginia Agroterrorism Conference is scheduled for May 9 at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center.

The Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services says farmers, veterinarians, food and dairy processors and retailers, and law enforcement officials are among those expected to attend.
