EGEDWOOD, Md. - The Harford County Sheriff's Office says a teenage boy is recovering after being stabbed multiple times in Edgewood.
Monica Worrell, a spokeswoman for the sheriff's office, says the 17-year-old flagged down a patrol deputy near the intersection of Woodbridge Center Way and Acorn Ridge Court about 7:15 p.m. Monday.
Worrell says the teen, who lives in the White Marsh area, told police that he was visiting a friend in the area when he was attacked by several people.
Authorities determined that the attack occurred nearby in the 1300 block of Apple Ridge Court.
The boy was in stable condition at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
