Arrest made in connection with northeast shooting

WASHINGTON - D.C. police say an arrest has been made in connection with a fatal shooting that happened over the weekend in northeast.
Authorities say 23-year-old Dietrich Baker was arrested on Monday and charged with second-degree murder in the shooting of 22-year-old James Ray Sherrod. Police say Sherrod was shot on Saturday afternoon in the 700 block of Kenilworth Terrace.
Sherrod died at a local hospital.
