VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - A fatal fire at a condominium complex in Virginia Beach has been ruled as accidental. But the cause remains undetermined.
Virginia Beach Fire Department Battalion Chief Tim Riley tells media outlets that the April 13 fire began outside of a first-floor unit at Lynnhaven Shores. It then spread up the side of the condominiums.
Ben and Pat Joyce were killed in the fire, along with their dog. About 22 residents were displaced.
