WASHINGTON - The Washington Wizards have been the worst team in the NBA since they drafted John Wall, a losing skid that's been tough on the former No. 1 overall pick from Kentucky.
Wall has toiled patiently while the Wizards keep hitting reset buttons on their rebuilding plan. This season alone they've fired the coach and traded or benched players once thought to be integral parts of future glory.
Wall leads the NBA with 193 turnovers and has struggled to hit clutch shots in recent games. He is averaging 17.1 points, 7.9 assists and 4.8 rebounds.
He says there are moments when he gets down, but he says the time will come when things turn around.
